Cartoons aren't just for kids -STAMP- by IloveHersheysSoMuch Cartoons aren't just for kids -STAMP- by IloveHersheysSoMuch
But if it's animated, it's definitely for the kiddies, right?!

One of the leading causes of bad parenting. What's worse is that some parents actually ALLOW their children to watch things like Family Guy, Robot Chicken, etc. and try to pelt shit on live-action TV shows for various reasons, usually the bullshit reason of "oversexualization!!111!".

Cartoon lovers get attacked for this[loving cartoons], and some try to force us out of it because apparently all of it---ALL OF IT, NO EXCEPTIONS --is for elementary school children and lower. Nope, there's no such thing as a cartoon going past the TV-PG/PG rating!

C'mon, kiddies! Gather 'round and let's watch some Drawn Together! How about some Kuang Kuang? Maybe Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt???

So true. I watch a lot of cartoons that aren't appropriate for kids, like Family Guy and Aqua Teen

Yeah, it's just like when they say "Disney is for kids". Yeah, no. No it isn't. :XD: It's not like we're watching Barney/Dora/Blues Clues and things like that.

True, but not all adults like cartoons that are not for kids, either. Lucky for me I'm staying childfree, because I'm dreading the possibility that any kids I might end up having would be scarred for life if I try to discipline them by simply feeling like they're being locked in a dungeon or a torture chamber like the "Chokey" from Matilda when I usher them over to the naughty chair, because I unfortunately felt that way when I had to go through those experiences as a kid! The same thing goes for dragging kids away from the TV to do homework or go to bed, because I'm sure dragging kids away from the TV is a possible reason why the former was invented. The latter on the other hand, was very difficult for me to handle when my eyes couldn't close at slated bedtimes!

Well, I'm going to show kids some Futurama, then people will realise that not all animations are for kids.

What is Kuang Kuang?
IloveHersheysSoMuch Featured By Owner Jun 26, 2014  Student
A (rather dark) Chinese cartoon. It's based around China's school system in the 1970's-1980's.

Wow. Did they have the dark Chinese toon on YouTube?

I don't think so, I think the episodes on Youtube may have gotten taken down...but I've found links to the episodes somewhere else here:…
I'm not sure if they have subtitles, but I hope this will help you enough ^^ btw it gets pretty violent and bloody, so don't watch it if violence and blood+gore maes you uncomfortable in anyway
